Glory Apologetics Event Guidelines

Eligibility for Organizing/Participation

Only serious churches, institutions, or Christian groups zealous for the Gospel and its defense are encouraged to organize or participate.

Communication and Notice

1

The organizing church or institution must send an email with the church letterhead to initiate the planning.

2

Any program must be planned with at least 1-month prior notice to Glory Apologetics.

3

If co-preachers, music bands, or worship leaders/singers are invited, details must be shared with Glory Apologetics in advance.

Promotion and Publicity

4

Organizers are free to promote the event through ads, hoardings, pamphlets, and invitations to believers from any denomination or faith. Prior notice to Glory Apologetics is required.

5

Organizers must seek prior permission for any video recording of the session; this may be subject to additional charges.

Financial Considerations

6

Glory Apologetics charges Speaker fees for the program.

7

Speaker fees are decided as per the meeting type.

Offerings

Even though Glory Apologetics does not ask for additional amount above the speaker fees, organizers are encouraged to provide gift offerings. These offerings will be used to develop more teaching materials and resources to further the mission.

Speakers Travel Considerations

8

For events outside the Mumbai circles:

  • Travel and accommodation for speakers must be arranged by the organizers at their expense.
  • Accommodation should not be at private residences for the privacy of both the hosting family and the speakers.
  • Air travel is required for the Glory Apologetics speaker (and one support member, if applicable) for all locations where feasible. If air travel is unavailable, organizers may book 3AC train tickets** for travel involving overnight journeys.
9

Sunday sermons at local churches outside the speaker's city will generally not be accommodated unless part of a larger convention or seminar.

Event Logistics

10

Organizers are responsible for overall event costs, including:

  • Venue rental
  • AV equipment
  • Food/snacks for participants, if applicable
11

Stationery items (e.g., printouts, handouts, pads, pens) for the program should be arranged by the organizers if required (optional).

12

For effective interaction, a minimum* confirmed participation of 30-40 attendees is expected. An ideal range is 40-80 participants for seminars and workshops.

13

Participants should arrive at the event venue at least 15 minutes* before the start time.

Resource Sales and Customization

14

Glory Apologetics may sell or promote books and study resources at the event.

15

Organizers must clearly communicate their seminar/program needs in advance to ensure content is customized appropriately. Glory Apologetics is not responsible for content suitability if these details are not provided.

Compliance and Cancellations

16

Organizers must adhere to state government guidelines* for events involving Glory Apologetics speakers.

17

Glory Apologetics reserves the right to cancel or reject event requests without providing a detailed explanation if the event does not align with Biblical or Glory Apologetics standards.

Cancellation Policy

Organizers must provide adequate notice if they need to cancel the event, along with any associated penalties or costs.

Conditions under Which Invitations Will Be Declined

Glory Apologetics will not accept invitations to events promoting beliefs or practices inconsistent with the following:

Spiritual gifts have ceased.
Old Testament laws are binding on Christians.
Saturday Sabbath is binding on Christians.
Women as pastors in the church.
Cults and occult practices.

Suggested Additions for Improvement

1

Event Evaluation: Include a feedback mechanism (e.g., forms or surveys) for participants to evaluate the event's effectiveness.

2

Technical Support: Assign dedicated technical staff to manage AV equipment and ensure smooth operations during the event.

3

Follow-Up Engagement: Encourage organizers to plan follow-up sessions or distribute additional resources to participants post-event.

4

Health and Safety Measures: Implement protocols for emergency medical situations or crowd control if needed.

5

Eco-Friendly Practices: Suggest using digital materials or eco-friendly alternatives for printed stationery to minimize environmental impact.

6

Volunteers: Organizing a team of volunteers to assist with logistics, crowd management, and participant registration.

NOTE

The session content of Glory Apologetics aligns with biblical principles and recognized international theological standards.

Glory Apologetics is a self-funded ministry. While voluntary love offerings from organizers are greatly appreciated, all contributions will be dedicated to creating YouTube videos, organizing seminars, conducting street preaching, distributing tracts, and other evangelistic efforts.

We kindly encourage you to promote Glory Apologetics programs to all churches, aiming to foster a well-grounded Christian community in India.
