Deuteronomy - Written by Moses or forged at the time of Josiah? A Response to Esther Dhanraj Description Copied from Peter Akbar Channel Esther Dhanraj in her video "pious fraud" on YouTube channel "Intellectual Kshatriya", alleged (with no proof or evidence) that the book of Deuteronomy was forged and planted in the temple at the time of Josiah by Hilkiah. This book was used by Josiah for a religious reformation. This reformation marked the birth of the religion of Judaism in the history of Israelites for the first time. I gave evidence from the scriptures and logic that: 1) The Book of Deuteronomy was indeed written by Moses 2) Book was never missing from Israel, it was available to Joshua the immediate leader, through David and Solomon and to Manasseh (the grandfather of Josiah) 3) If Hilkiah, Shaphan, Huldah and Josiah were lying about the book of law which was found in temple then their lies would have been caught instantly because they will also have to explain how the book of law (Deuteronomy) came into the temple from tabernacle.
