Part 1 || Refuting Sexism in Torah || EvilBible.com Refuted One of the unknown feminist author on evilbible.com has launched an attacked on the Holy Bible by making statements such as "Sexism is quite rampant in the Torah, considering the Hebrews were once a very chauvinistic society when it was written." To understand the Torah, we need to have a good grip on the ancient culture and the prevalent accepted practices in that setting. To understand whether or not the Torah is sexist, it is mandatory to know what the heathen cultures and other religions had as common practices and norms in their societies as well. So, to say the Hebrews was a chauvinistic society would require that the author has looked into other ancient cultures and has proved them otherwise, which obviously is not referenced to by the author here.
